Texas Democratic Rural Initiative is an effort that brings together the leading voices and organizations fighting to strengthen rural Texans’ political power.
In 2025, rural Americans handed Democrats landslide victories across the nation.
From Wisconsin, where every single county skewed bluer, to Virginia, Mississippi, and Georgia, rural voters showed up and showed out for progressive leaders, not roll-over Republicans.
And here in Texas, even during the tough 2024 cycle, Republican-held districted swayed bluer than before.
Democrats win when rural voters believe in them.
